These are my favorite cookies and this is my third year to make them. The Rae Rae and Nana made them together on Sunday afternoon. She said she was a good "pourer" and was so proud of herself for helping to make cookies. She sat on a stool in front of the oven and watched them bake through the window. It was a great afternoon with my Granddaughter.

My bestest, sweetest memories of my Grandma was watching and "helping" her in the kitchen. I still vividly remember her making potato pancakes from scratch. Rae Rae will remember these memories when she is an old lady like me! The cookies, oh man I can see I'm gonna be at the grocery store and in the kitchen with another one of your recipes. Country Husband loves your blog! Our life is a whole lot about FOOD.
I think, no, I KNOW, my hubby would adore these, so I'll have to copy this down and try them. The photo is gorgeous.
And Paula Deen? I just watched her cookie swap last Sunday morn, and decided I love her. So down to earth, unlike Martha "nose-in-the-air" Stewart. I might check into her magazine and add to my collection. :)
Mmmm! Those look beautiful and delicious! I'll have to try these.
Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. Nice to see someone from Texas. I was born in Corpus Christi.....43 years ago. :)
Great music over here, too.
Merry Christmas!
