I try hard to only post about positive or slightly amusing parts of my life on this blog. Lately, this has left me with almost nothing to talk about. I’m just not feeling too happy right now because when my children are out of sorts, I’m out of sorts. When they hurt, I hurt. When they are sad, I am sad and when they are in turmoil so am I. When they are low on money, ultimately I will follow. It’s just the way my world is. I suppose it is that way with most mother’s and daughter’s.
My youngest has had her share of problems for awhile now. You could say that the fit hit the shan about a month and a half ago. My world has been turned upside down and I don’t see any relief in sight. There doesn’t seem to be enough cookies or rum in the world to take care of this problem. Believe me, I have tried!!!
If it were only 15 years ago…I could just kiss it and make it all better. I’m looking forward to happier times but until then I’ll be here with my box of cookies and a cocktail.

Lone Star, I don't know what is going on and kids never happened for us so I am clueless on that but I just wanted to say that I am thinking of you and hoping that your happier times come quickly and everything gets worked out. You will be in my thoughts.
Sorry to hear you're knee deep in cow pies at the moment. I have 3 daughters, all teenagers, so we are just starting down the trail you're on, but they are the center of my universe, too, so I empathize. No worries about posting cheerfulness - I went through a rough patch awhile back and was so grateful for readers support. Hang in there. Warmly, Andrea

Hugs to you, hang in there... I do know how that feels when you want your blog to be all sunshine and cheerfulness. I've often said that I must make some folks vomit from all the sunshine on my blog... LOL
