I had completely forgotten about this photo taken just down the road from my house shortly after Christmas. I just found it in my iphone.
We pulled into the gas station and I squealed with delight and said “It’s Santa”! “I know him”! Hillbilly just about lost it right there. There he was all decked out in his camo, probably headed out to take some much needed R&R. Santa knew I was I was taking his picture so he turned his head. I bet he has to hide from the paparazzi often.

too funny...amazing what we come across when we go through past photos..
Poor Santa....he looks like his fame has just gotten to be too much to bear...probably why he is wearing the camo.
santa lives across the street from me....I get to see him all year long...
I once saw Santa hopping a flight to North Carolina by way of Atlanta on Christmas Eve. Had on his red shirt, overalls & cowboy boots...even had the wire-rimmed glasses.
And believe it or not, airport security tapped him for a security sweep.
But the funniest was when he came to sit down next to us while waiting for the flight. A 4-year old spotted him, bolted from his mother & ran across to the other side to climb the rail & ask, "Are you going to my house?!"
He said, "Yep - I'll meet you there."
And when 2 teenage girls passing by spotted him, they giggled at him to which Mr. Claus pointed his finger & shouted, "I know your names!"
It was classic.
Much love from an overseas Army wife,
Jennifer
